Receipts vs. tourism dependence
The biggest earners sit far to the right, but the highest tourism shares of GDP cluster among small destination economies.
Scale is not dependence: the United States records the largest receipts at $213B, but receipts equal less than 1% of GDP.
The highest shares are concentrated: Andorra, Aruba, Macao SAR, Maldives, and Seychelles all exceed 55% of GDP.
