PTO Americans vs. Europeans

I have always heard that Europeans have longer PTOs than Americans. But is that true? And if true, how much longer? This week I found a report by New View Strategies on the PTO days comparison and vacation guilt from Americans and Europeans. This report was published in 2022, so the data could be a bit outdated, but I think it still provides a good information and perspective on the vacation culture differences.

My Visualization

This visualization consists of two histograms side by side, comparing the PTO days distribution between Americans and Europeans.
