Coffee Consumption Worldwide

I have many coworkers and friends drink multiple cups of coffee every day to keep a clear mind during the day time. Though I am more of a tea person, I am curious which countries are more addicted to coffee. Therefore, this week, I found a dataset from Visual Capitalist and made a visualization on worldwide coffee consumption myself.

This visualization is a radial chart, where each bar represents the daily coffee consumption (cups) and ordered in a circle.

Insights

• Europeans are much more addicted to coffee than people around the world – the top three countries by coffee consumption are Luxembourg, Finland, and Sweden;
• Meanwhile, countries in South Asia, South East Asia and Africa tend to have a much lower coffee consumption level.
