Do you go to Google to get Christmas gift inspirations? This week I extracted the search index of “christmas gift” in the last 90 days on Google Trend to make a fun visualization.

Insights

• “Christmas Gift” search started to spike in end of Nov, probably also related to the Black Friday holiday sales;
• After that, its seach popularity increases significantly every weekend. Surprisingly, the highest search index actually happened on the Chrsitmas eve day itself, probably lots of people still doing last-minute shopping.
