I travel overseas multiple times every year. In the past two years, I went to Japan, Switzerland, Austria, France, and Amsterdam. This week, I found this analysis of the top 100 destinations across the world and made my version of the visualization.

Insights

• Among the top 10 destinations, 5 are from the Asia Pacific region, including two from Japan (Tokyo and Osaka);
• Surprisingly, the most popular overnight travel destination in Europe in 2025 is Antalya, Turkey, instead of London and Paris.
